Transformation starts with developing concentration. You begin to have the capacity to control your attention and steady yourself even if the situation that you are in is chaotic. With steady, flexible attention, the static in our minds can clear. A clear head allows for us to see changing, complex, and sometimes contradictory causes and conditions that lead to every moment. This is not a simple process when emotions run high but you can learn skills and insight and learn to view your life with wisdom and compassion which connects you to your values and ethics.
Each week in this Mindfulness & Yoga series, you will engage in yoga poses and learn mindfulness skills that build upon each other. You will be provided with information and a link to the mindfulness activities conducted in each class which allows you to practice again at a time that is right for you.
