Yoga for Kids!

Kids Yoga Series

In this 5-week Kids Yoga & Mindfulness Series, kids will explore yoga poses and mindfulness in fun and creative ways. Yoga will be taught through individual and partner poses, as well as through movement games to cultivate a sense of body and spatial awareness. Kids will learn breathing techniques for calming and relaxing their bodies and minds; They will explore mindfulness using sound, food, and sensory activities; And they will practice relaxation techniques through stories and music. Kids will also practice self-reflection by journaling each week during class, and will learn about concepts such as Kindness, Gratitude, Compassion, Generosity, Tolerance, and Healthy Living.
